„Venturing into MedTech-Entrepreneurship: The Adhesys Story and some Learnings“ – Biotech Entrepreneurship and Leadership Lectures with Alexander Schüller
We are pleased to announce the next „Biotech Entrepreneurship and Leadership Lecture“. Alexander Schüller, co-founder and managing director of Adhesys Medical will speak about Venturing into MedTech-Entrepreneurship: The Adhesys Story and some Learnings.
Born and raised in Germany, Alex studied international business at the Maastricht University in The Netherlands, before joining The Boston Consulting Group for 2.5 years. In his subsequent pursuit of his PhD, he came across a unique surgical glue technology, upon which he started Adhesys Medical together with his former BCG office mate, the inventor and two Professors from the RWTH Aachen University. In 2015, he moved to the US to run the businesses’ commercialization, regulatory and financing activities. Alex and his co-founders successfully exited Adhesys Medical to the Grünenthal Group in 2017, where Alex still serves as a managing director.
